*I do ask that you text first, if possible, and tell me who you are. I may not answer a call from a number I don't know.
I began teaching at Washington Alternative Learning Center in August 2002. I have taught a variety of Social Studies classes in grades 6-12. My primary focus has always been World History, US History, US Government, and Economics for grades 9-12.
I set high expectations for my students and work hard to help students achieve success.
I am a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I am still a loyal fan of the Wildcats and return to my alma mater as often as I can, but not in the winter.
I also have a second job, though it is way too much fun to be called work, at UTC. I work with the stat crews at home football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball games. I have become an avid fan of the Mocs!
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
