Exit Day Program: “Exit Day Programs” for Washington students refer to structured, family-oriented, student-led award and progress  observances that indicate end-of-quarter social-emotional, academic, and positive behavior achievement celebrations for exiting students. These programs facilitate students’ transition back to their regular school environment or a new educational placement. The purpose is to support a smooth transition by incorporating a formal plan, designated liaisons, and ongoing communication between the traditional school and the alternative program. All stakeholders are welcome!
